Member Service Solutions, LLC is the culmination of over 50 years of experience offering products and services within the financial services industry.  Rick Hargis, President/CEO of Member Service Corporation and Tom Gray, President/CEO of Tom Gray Solutions have teamed to form Member Service Solutions, LLC (MSS).

Tom Gray:

Tom is an award-winning trainer, consultant, speaker and presenter.  He has recently turned his proven talents and successful motivational techniques to the task of helping your credit union increase profits in the form of fee income—quickly and easily! –without adding to the burden your MSRs or loan officers already bear.


Gray, an AFIP Certified Finance and Insurance Professional since 2004, has received numerous awards and recognition in addition to the prestigious National Sales Trainer of the Year Award.  His credits include numerous educational certifications from the Wilson Learning Corporation and Dale Carnegie Training Institute.


His expertise in the field of banking, credit, and finance is based on firsthand product knowledge as well as years of professional training and consulting.  He has spent nearly 20 years working, learning, observing and testing his own original concepts within the sales and financial industries, attending as many training courses as possible in order to add to his arsenal of knowledge and understanding of consumer behavior and motivation.  As hundreds of satisfied clients can attest, his methods and ideas work.



Rick Hargis:

Rick began his career in credit unions in 1976 and obtained his life, health and accident insurance license at age 19.  After attending Murray State University, Rick went to work full time with his father, Bob Hargis, selling cancer insurance and conducting membership drives for credit unions.


In 1980, Rick and his father started the first DHMO dental program in the state of Tennessee.  Rick spent two years as Director of Dental Operations for the company and recruited a dental provider network in eight states.  Member Service Corporation was chartered in 1985 with Rick appointed company President in 1986.


Member Service Corporation (MSC) continued to expand its product offerings to include AD&D, Long Term Care, fixed annuities, Dental /Vision coverage, Life insurance, identity theft protection and more.  In the 1990’s, Rick and MSC were involved in the formation of 11 Credit Union Services Organizations (CUSO’s) across the nation.  MSC was an early member of NACUSO as well as PROCU (Product Research Organization for Credit Unions).
